Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the home of the 26th Supreme Basileus, Sigma alpha iota crest Linda Marie White, was the eighth graduate chapter chartered. It was chartered on November 5, 1922 at 5200 S.

Theta Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha was chartered November 17, 1968 in Markham, IL. South Suburban area of Chicago by sponsoring civic, cultural, social and educational activities. Lambda Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha was chartered on March 5, 1977 by 38 members. Today, the tradition of service and sisterhood continues in the areas of Education, Black Family, Health, Economic Empowerment and Arts. Lambda Nu Omega Chapter was formed through the interest of a few Sorors in the Lake County area. It was spearheaded by Soror Isabelle Buckner in the form of an Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority round up.

The round up was held at her home on Saturday, February 8, 1976. Lambda Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Far South Chicagoland Community for twenty-five years. Xi Nu Omega Chapter Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The chapter has a current membership of over 230 women. Sigma Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

25 sorors on June 21, 1990, in Gary, Indiana. Alpha Kappa Alpha women who were convened by Soror Marian Wilson Comer. Phi Kappa Omega Chapter was chartered January 8, 2000 in Evergreen Park, Illinois by 15 dynamic women. Her membership has grown to the current 35 over the last three years.

Our programs include the Carey B. Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The chapter was installed on May 15, 1924 in response to the demand of graduate brothers for a separate chapter in Chicago. Among the 20 charter members was Henry Arthur Callis, one of the founders-known as a Jewel-of Alpha Phi Alpha.
