I had submitted the design to a major publication. Disappointed, I tucked the pattern away in my notebook. I love to watch the way the different color patterns unfold in this simple pattern. I hope you enjoy the versatility of this little bag as much as I do!

Optional: small amount of 3rd contrasting color for strap. Rounds are not joined unless specified, but worked continuous. Remember to place your stitch marker in the last stitch of each round to prevent losing track. Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around. Sl st in last st of rnd.
Rnd 13: Working in back loops on this rnd ONLY, sc in each st around. Rnd 14 -18: Sc in each st around. At the end of Rnd 18 sl st in the next st and Finish off. This section is NOT worked in continuous rounds. Rnd 1: Sc in each st around.
